It can help you find information on going to medical school, the books you’ll need, what your schedule will be like, what your co-workers will probably be like (hey, online forums can only tell you so much). From there, it’s on you to find the best school for nursing for you, the one that fits your unique goals and schedule.

#1 – plan ahead: once you have your goal in mind, it’s time to plan ahead for the future. If you know you’re staying in state for college and attending your classes that way, it’s super important that you nail that down upfront. So if you’re in Texas, searching for the best nursing schools in Houston would be a great idea.

Same goes for Illinois – maybe you want to commute in to the city, so searching for top nursing schools in Chicago makes the most sense. Dental Assistant Salary: How Much Do They Make?

Dental assistants (also known as DAs), are those helpful people that come meet you at the front and take you back to the dentist chair. Their tasks and duties vary kind of widely, but they’ll generally talk with you, ask you how you are, some even clean teeth.

If you have your certification in certain departments, some DAs also do X-rays, cleanings and so forth. It’s also a stone’s throw from becoming a dental hygienist, so the the career advancement opportunities will be there if you’d like to stay in the dentist’s office but would like a little bit of a change overall in your duties.

Anyways, enough with the chit chat… what is the average Dental assistant salary? Well my kind sir, a dental assistant’s annual pay usually starts off in the $24,000 to $30,000 range, depending on the training they’ve done, any certifications they’ve received, and the area they’re applying for the job in.
